It was a very good day for me today. In fact, I have never been happier than I am feeling right now. Family gathering has always what i look forward every week. On Saturdays, My family and I usually go to my mother's parent's house while on Sundays, we go to my father's parent's house. It is actually very fun to meet all my cousins, relatives aunties, uncles and grandparents every week. We share stories with one another and wish others well. Anyway, this was what happened just now...
I was finishing my biology homework when my father finally got home. We got ready to go to my grandparents' house. I had been looking forward to this every week as it was the only time i could meet them. When we reached there, almost everyone was there except for those who did not come due to unforeseen circumstances. At that time, my uncle was playing a ghost story on his DVD player. I quickly settled down to watch the movie. It was not scary, in fact, there were only suspense due to the background music. At around 7pm, we had to pause the movie as we had to do our evening prayers together so that later, we can resume the story without much delay. I can say that I liked ghost stories as I liked the suspense and the chill of the story but I never ever wished to meet a ghost myself. My late grandfather used to be able to see all these stuffs and when he passed away, my father can see it too but not often. Even when he sees something strange, he would not talk about it until he was sure that nothing would happen. i am afraid that this is a generation thingy and that I might be able to see things when my father is gone and this special ability is passed down onto me but enough of all that.
We continued the movie after our dinner. There was not much to do but I played with my 2 year old cousin who is still a baby. In all, all I did today was very well very fun to me indeed and I cannot wait for the week to be over but I knew that time will not pass so fast as I had a lot of things to attend to such as campcraft, projects, homework and more homework. So that is all for my blog. Until we meet again next time...

Ca1 assignment #2(unfortunate events today)
Well, today is the day I was supposed to do my math and literature project with my friends but everything had gone terribly wrong. I swore I heard my friend said on Friday to meet at 9am at Tampines Interchange so I woke as early as 6am to get ready my things. I did not have time to prepare my stuffs the day before as after I had post my blog, I went directly to sleep as I was very tired after my campcraft training. I left my house at 8am without having breakfast as I had already get used to not having breakfast and I usually get stomachache if I ate breakfast. I should have left earlier if I had known that the bus would be very crowded at that time despite the day being a Saturday morning.
When I reached the interchange, I realized that my handphone battery was flat so I just walked around, hoping to find my friends somewhere there but unfortunately, I did not find them. At 9.30am, I decided to go back home to get my phone and inform my friends that I would be late due to unforeseen circumstances but when I reached home, my parents broke a very shocking news to me. They said that a relative had been hospitalized that morning so we quickly went to visit her. Luckily, her condition was not bad. She was hospitalized as she had vomited blood the day before but then, her condition was improving. I was not home until 8pm when i quickly charged my phone. Suddenly, I received 3 messages. I felt very disappointed when I read the messages. they were from my friends, asking me why I had not turned up for the project. I wished they knew my situation then but I felt I should have informed them earlier.

Blog assignment #1 ( campcraft )
Campcraft! That is what I have everyday. It was supposed to be only three hours a day and three days a week but due to the competition being held in early February, it was decided that we have our campcraft trainings every day until 7pm. Once I reach home, I will always feel very tired but I will always commit myself to VSNPCC. VSNPCC has given me the chance to give back to the school what she has given me since Secondary 1 and this is the reason why I joined campcraft. I joined campcraft as there will be a competition and it is the most prestigious competition in VSNPCC and so that I can bring honour to VSNPCC. Anyway, this was what happened just...
I was crossing the road after my prayers with my friend, Farhan when I spotted our H.O.(Honourary Officer if I am not wrong) walking from the bus stop to the school. As we were quite close to him and he being friendly to us, we chat for a while before we went our separate ways from the canteen . Our H.O. was going to the campcraft area while Farhan and I was going to the canteen to have our lunch. I just had a quick snack as I was still full since recess. I met my other friends at the canteen but most of them were not from the campcraft team. I felt that those in the campcraft team were not as close to our other squadmates because we go for campcraft everyday but they went for normal trainings on Fridays only.
After our lunch, we went up together to the NPCC room to get the campcraft things such as twines, ponchos, pegs, poles and many others to bring down to the campcraft area but our NCO(Non-Commissioned Officer) informed us that they had brought the stuffs down for us. Farhan and I ran as fast as we could to the campcraft area while the others stayed to clarify some doubt but when we reached the place, our Sec. 3 seniors were not there due to some courses so we could not pitch a full tent with the gadget and flagstaff. Due to this, my partner for gadget, Benjamin, who is also the squad chairman, and I had to practise our gadget only. This was boring as we were used to having all our team mates doing full pitchings together. There was one thing which I could not forget, and that was that if you pulled the twine too hard and it slipped, you could get rope burn or even blisters on your hand. I was the only person (I think..) who does not have any blisters on my hand yet. All my other team mates had already suffered blisters and some even suffered injuries. My sec. 3 senior, Kenny, injured his finger while he was pegging. Benjamin also suffered the same injury but it was not as worse as Kenny's.
But anyway, at about 6pm, the sec 3s arrived therefore we had to at least do one full tent before going home. We did not finish our tent due to certain circumstances. After our campcraft training had ended, we walked past the tennis court, only to find our other squad mates still there playing soccer. By then, I could not resist the temptation to play soccer as it had been a long time since I played soccer with my squad mates. I felt that by doing so, we could bond ourselves and not get separated as some of us were in the campcraft team therefore we did not spend as much time as before with each other. We could not play soccer after every campcraft training as we had to rush home to complete our homework so that we did not miss out in our schoolwork. This is why I am always so tired in the morning during school as I always stayed up late at night, doing my homework so that I can hand it up on time.

First week at school!
Finally, the holidays are over! This is the first week at school but I am still in my holiday mood. I think this is because of my birthday falling on the first Saturday of the new year! Anyway, the fact that I am still in my holiday mood, I cannot seem to sleep early. During the holidays, I usually slept at around 12 in the morning and woke up at 5 in the morning for my campcraft training. On the first day of school, I went to classroom 1, forgetting that year 2007 had passed and that I am now in Sec. 2. No one was in the class so I went back downstairs to wait for my friends at the canteen. Usually, when I reached school, a lot of people would have already reached school. While waiting at the canteen, I saw the Sec Ones waiting at some of the tables. To me, the sec. ones this year look very small and tiny. By then I had already realised that I was already in sec. 2. I quickly got up and went to classroom 2B. A lot of people were already in class talking. My new year resolution this year is to really get better grades so i can get the subject combinations that I want. The next few days were less interesting but I noted that most of my subject teachers were the same compared to that of last year. Homework is still piling but I will try my best to put in my best effort to complete them. There was still my campcraft training although it was the first week of school But I would expect nothing less because we are training for a competition and the prelims will start in March. So I guess that is it. Until next time and may the force be with you. ;)
